Ideal for biodiversity, productivity, and use in SFI systems
A mixture of 6 grasses, 3 legumes, and 5 herbs
Suitable for cutting and grazing, but will do best if given sufficient rest times in between defoliations
A new product in 2024, ideal for biodiversity, productivity, and use in SFI systems (Sustainable Farming Incentives).
A mixture of 6 grasses, 3 legumes, and 5 herbs, this mixture is suitable for cutting and grazing, but will do best if given sufficient rest times in between defoliations.
Ryegrass content makes this mixture productive, while the addition of other grasses makes it suitable across a wide range of environmental conditions and soil types.
Legumes provide nitrogen fixation, and protein content for feed, while herbs provide minerals. Together they both offer a range of rooting structures to improve sward resilience and soil condition, and promote beneficial insect populations with a variety of flowers.
Key benefits

Designed as a medium term ley
Management very similar to straight ryegrass swards – no extra work on farm
High level of inclusion of legumes and herbs to promote their success in the plant population
Combination of grasses helps plant population resilience to a variety of growing conditions
Tetraploid ryegrasses for high digestibility
Timothy for palatability and cool season growth
Modern varieties of soft-leaved tall fescue and fine-leaved cocksfoot for easier management and higher quality
A range of rooting structures promotes positive soil interactions
