"Over the last 8 years at Coombe Hill Golf Club. I have always elected to use Barenbrug’s seed range. From All Bent on greens to RPR Golf on new root-zone drain lines. However, the biggest success has been from the use of Ultrafine-60. As products are removed that once protected fine turf areas from biotic stress, my only option was to completely over seed rough, semi-rough, fairways and approaches (which are at 4mm). Perennial ryegrass has changed dramatically over the years, The Barolympic and Barprium cultivars in Ultrafine 60 produce such a fine leaf, which makes boxing off clipping from fairways much easier. Nitrogen inputs are down and colour retention is up. Barenburg’s seed range helps me produce fine playing surfaces that are required from a prestigious golf club."
