Barenbrug is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Sheppard, who will be joining the amenity team as Regional Sales Manager covering the south west of England.

Richard has spent over 25 years working in the industry and brings with him a wealth of knowledge. He has previously worked in greenkeeping positions at various golf courses, as well as running his own grounds maintenance business. More recently though, he joins Barenbrug from Limagrain, where he covered the south of England as a Seed Specialist.

Barenbrug’s passion is plant breeding and grass seed and from its founding days in 1904 the Royal Barenbrug Group has grown into a global seed company with breeding and research stations on six continents. The company prides itself on being customer centric and having Richard join the team will only strengthen this focus. His knowledge and experience will enhance the company’s ethos in the south west of England, as he builds working relationships with new and existing customers.
