Seed Production Manager

Sebastian  joined Barenbrug in 2021 as a Fieldsman and now holds the role of UK Seed Production Manager. He has over nine years of professional experience in agriculture, although having grown up on a family farm, his involvement in the industry began much earlier. Sebastian has worked across a wide range of agricultural sectors, from arable farming to fresh produce, which sparked his interest in niche crops such as herbage seed.

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture and is BASIS qualified. Sebastian grew up in North Wiltshire, where he still lives, and in his spare time enjoys helping out on the family farm and heading to Devon for the occasional surf trip

Seed Production Administrator

Abigail joined Barenbrug in 2023 as maternity cover in our Seed Production department. After a period working within the operations department she has now accepted her previous role back as Seed Production Administrator. Working alongside Sebastian, Abi helps to build on current relationships with external growers and cleaning locations. Abi graduated from The Royal Agricultural University with a BSc (Hons) in Food and Agri Business in 2021.

Abigail grew up on her rather unique family farm in North Shropshire that primarily specialized in breeding and rearing exotic parrots along with all the traditional more normal aspects of a farm! Abigail’s pride and joy is her working Labrador Barley.
