Barnoustie and Barquess promise new levels of quality for slender creeping red fescue – they are the only cultivars on the market with BSPB mean scores of 8.0 and above in both L4 and G3 tables.
Nightclub and Dancing feature in the top 5 in both Chewings G2 and L3 tables. Nightclub is #1 in the lawns table and has very high Red Thread tolerance.
Barquess, with its pale green colour offers particularly fast early season growth for a slender and recent trials point to Barnoustie having a very high degree of Dollar Spot tolerance, which is also worth noting.
